Rough E Rodeo Productions is proud to be an open, non-association rodeo organization, allowing contestants of all experience levels to compete without the need for memberships, permits, or association fees. Whether you are a seasoned competitor or entering your first rodeo, all contestants follow the same entry process and have an equal opportunity to compete.

How to Enter

Contestants enter rodeos through our official Call-In Process, which typically takes place on the Monday prior to each rodeo performance (unless adjusted due to another scheduled rodeo or holiday).

To enter, contestants must TEXT the Rough E Rodeo Secretary at (419) 305-3142 between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM on the designated call-in date.

Because entries are accepted for multiple events and locations, confirmation messages may not be sent until all entries have been processed. In some cases, confirmations may be completed the following day. Please do not be concerned if you do not receive an immediate response.

MINORS UNDER 18: Those under 18 are still permitted to ride. Parent and/or Legal Guardian must will out a NOTARIZED MINOR RELEASE FORM. This form is also available at the time of check-in with the secretary, who is an Official Notary for a charge of $5.

Important: Entries are accepted by TEXT MESSAGE ONLY. Phone calls, social media messages, and other forms of communication will not be accepted as official entries.

Draw Information

Barrel Racing Draws are typically posted within 1–2 days following call-ins.
Bull Riders will not receive a posted draw. Bulls are assigned through a chip draw conducted during contestant check-in on the day of the rodeo.

Turn Outs & Entry Fees

If a contestant enters a rodeo and subsequently turns out (does not compete), entry fees remain due and payable to the purse unless the contestant provides acceptable medical or veterinary documentation. This policy helps ensure fair payouts and allows Rough E Rodeo Productions to continue offering open-entry opportunities while providing quality events and competitive purses.

Tour Points System

All contestants earn season points toward year-end standings and awards. Points are awarded regardless of winnings and may be designated as 1X, 2X, or 3X points depending on the rodeo location and event.

Standard 1X Points Schedule

Placement Points Awarded

1st Place (Payout) - 50 Points

2nd Place (Payout) - 45 Points

3rd Place (Payout) - 40 Points

4th Place (Payout) - 35 Points

5th Place (Payout) - 30 Points

6th Place (Payout) - 25 Points

In addition, contestants earn:

5 points for each entry fee paid
Contestant must compete to receive entry-fee participation points
No-Time-Out (NTO) and Paid Turn-Out (PTO) entries are not eligible for participation points
